Bad news, it’s not even 10. Good news, it’s Friday! Only 7ish more hours until you can celebrate your short lived freedom. Whether you were crunching numbers or digging ditches, celebrate the fact that you made it through another grueling work week. At the end of the day, we’re all just doing one thing anyway…

We’re back!

What a wild few years it’s been. We went into hiding during the pandemic in order to make sure that this talent was not impacted by Corona Covid-19. We hid ourselves in the darkest corner of the Earth, hoping that we’d have zero human interaction, limiting our chances of catching the nasty virus. That hiding place was the Edelweiss Tavern in Oscoda, Michigan. Unfortunately, everyone else had the same idea and we just ended up with an addiction to pickle backs and hundreds of dollars in Touch Tunes credits.

Now that we’ve crawled out of the darkness and dusted ourselves off, it’s time to get back to doing what we love. I’m still not sure what that is, since we have no idea what we love doing, but we’ll figure that out eventually. We might have to take a trip to purify ourselves in the waters of Lake Minnetonka and go on a DMT journey in order to find those answers, but we’ll get around to it once the pickle backs stop flowing and Alan Jackson stops playing on the jukebox (spoiler alert: not gonna happen). So let’s just get back to this whole blogging thing and have ourselves some fun. I imagine it’s as easy as riding a bike, so what could go wrong.

Now for the reason you’re all here. It’s Labor Day Weekend. The unofficial end to Summer. All of you scumbags who were “single for the Summer” can go back to being single for the other 3 seasons. The gyms are now less crowded with kids who are loaded up on SARMS, the school buses are once again ruining my morning commute, and the days of blacking out on the beach are quickly running out. So let’s enjoy this long weekend while we can and do something fun. I will be taking this time to reflect on my life choices while drinking a bucket of Corona at a beach bar. I can only hope you beautiful people do the same.

Whatever you do, please be safe this weekend. Don’t drink and drive. We got through Covid, let’s not ruin that by doing something dumb and putting other people in danger. I love you all. Have a weekend!
