Friday Pick-me-up

Bad news, it’s hardly 10. Good news, it’s Friday! Only 7ish more hours until you can celebrate your short lived freedom. Whether you were crunching numbers or digging ditches, celebrate the fact that you made it through another grueling work week. At the end of the day, we’re all just doing one thing anyway…

Another week as come and another week has gone. We still don’t have new content. Who is to blame? Me? Probably. Dave? Probably? Let me throw another culprit at you. A little spinzone here…maybe the readers are to blame. Never pushing us to create more content. Just settling for a blog a week and calling it good. Take a look in the mirror before you start blaming the guys who actually run this thing.

JK, it’s totally on us. New Year, New Me though. So I’m 27 days late to the party, my bad. I’m going to work on it. We’ll get you some more shit. Gert has recently made an appearance so I’m sure we’ll get him back on here. I’ve got a few ideas for some solid weekly content and I’m sure Dave has a million ideas flowing through that noggin of his.

Anyway, it’s the weekend and I’d be flat out lying if I said I wasn’t excited. I think this may have been the longest work week in history. I’ve been battling like Glanzy to get in to work with a killer cold that most would’ve stayed home to fight. Not me. I’m fighting that bad Jackson from my cube. Doing wonders for my attendance record this year. I’m sure I would’ve been feeling 100x’s better than I do right now if I would’ve taken a day or two to rest, but that’s in the past. All I can do is look to the future. More specifically tonight, when I plan on fighting this cold the old fashioned way, with whiskey and Michelob Ultra. I’m sure I’ll be feeling good enough to make an appearance at Commune. Meet me there, so I know it’s real.

Music.

First up is a song I just heard a week ago. Absolute jam. I’ve played it no less than 100 times in the last 7 days.

Second song is more magic from Sheeran. That’s all you need to know.
