Bad news, it’s hardly 9. Good news, it’s Friday! Only 8ish more hours until you can celebrate your short lived freedom. Whether you were crunching numbers or digging ditches, celebrate the fact that you made it through another grueling work week. At the end of the day, we’re all just doing one thing anyway…

Shout out to the loyal readers. You’re the real MVP’s here. Just wanted to get that out of the way.

Well who would’ve guessed…another week without content. So standard. I really don’t know what to say. Dave was down in the metro Detroit area and we just dropped the ball…BUT…we did set up a game plan for this weekend to get some A+++ content made. I couldn’t be more fired up for what we’re about to film. It’s probably really stupid and it won’t be funny to 95% of the people who see it, but I can’t stop laughing when I think about it. So be on the lookout for that this weekend/next week.

Anyway, it’s Memorial Day Weekend. Really one of the best weekends of the year. It’s a time for debauchery at the highest level. A weekend where you can drink as much as you want and no one will accuse you of having a problem. A stretch of time where people flock to tourist towns to escape the city life, only to bitch that they don’t have the amenities available to them in the city. 72 hours of recklessness. 3 days to jump in the lake despite it being nowhere near warm enough to do so and rationalizing it by saying “fuck it, it’s Memorial Day Weekend so it’s basically summer”. But more importantly, it’s a time to reflect on why we can do all of those wonderful things. A lot of brave men and women have given their lives for this country and our freedoms. That freedom that allows people to bitch about how much they hate the United States and the same freedom that allows me to wear red, white, and blue and chug natty light all weekend. So I’ll be raising a drink to those folks this weekend, and I hope you do the same.
