Bad news, it’s hardly 10. Good news, it’s Friday! Only 7ish more hours until you can celebrate your short lived freedom. Whether you were crunching numbers or digging ditches, celebrate the fact that you made it through another grueling work week. At the end of the day, we’re all just doing one thing anyway…
What a gloomy day. It’s raining and I’m already sick of it. What a way to ruin the start to a perfectly good Fall Friday. I just need to remind myself how blessed I am that it’s college football season. Not many things can really top that. That’s what I’m here for. College football season, tailgates, grilled food, and beer. Speaking of which, there’s a neat little shindig going on in Ann Arbor tomorrow. A B1G battle. An interstate showdown. I like the Wolverines by 100, but that’s just my opinion. These are not the Spartans of the early 2010’s. I don’t doubt that the Spartans will bring their A game to AA for the game and the tailgate. If you had a gun to my head and asked me to pick a place I’d rather tailgate, I’d probably tell you that MSU is unbeatable. (Look at me flip flopping over here like I’m John Kerry).
Michigan 130 – MSU 14
Aside from that shit show, we’ve got ourselves a battle of the 3-1 teams at Ford Field on Sunday. Luckily for the Lions, I’ll be there helping to restore the roar. The place is going to be ROCKING. I can’t wait. The smell of Detroit at 9am is unbeatable. The smell of food on the grill, the sound of ice cold beers being opened, the carnage left on the ground by strawberries being sent to meet their makers…all of these things are what make a Lions tailgate unbeatable. We might not be throwing ourselves through tables, shout out #BillsMafia, but we’re having a damn good time.
Anyway, I hope to see your beautiful facees at the Lions game. Forward down the field.
On to the music
What an awful start to the week. First up we’ve got some Tom Petty. Absolute legend.
Second, we had a terrible situation in Vegas. I refuse to type the coward’s name, but fuck that guy. I love Vegas. I love country music. I don’t love cowards who have to attack innocent people.
