Etc.

Friday Pick-me-up

Bad news, it’s hardly 9. Good news, it’s Friday! Only 8ish more hours until you can celebrate your short lived freedom. Whether you were crunching numbers or digging ditches, celebrate the fact that you made it through another grueling work week. At the end of the day, we’re all just doing one thing anyway…

First blog of 2018. Wow. Think about that. It’s 2018. I remember when we started this thing a few years ago with the intention of just getting a few laughs and doing some dumb stuff along the way. Thankfully, we’ve managed to do neither of those things. But that’s all about to change. I know I said we’d have a lot of new stuff in 2018, and we will. Give us a few days to pull ourselves together after the New Year’s festivities. We’re getting older and this recovery process is taking longer. But I’ll be damned if I let another year go by without any decent content. We’ve actually filmed a ton of stuff that we released on Instagram. I know it’s kinda stupid, but we’ll probably release it on here since that’s what we should’ve done in the first place…Stay tuned

Anyway, it’s cold outside. Like v cold. Really not enjoying this at all. I’m hoping the weather breaks soon. I’m not sure if it actually will though because I’ve been too scared to actually look at the forecast to see if there is any relief in the near future. Make sure you stay warm this weekend. Nothing worse than some frostbite to start the new year.

In case you were in need of ways to stay warm, I’ve got a few…

  • A blanket and a glass of wine
  • Space heater and a beer
  • Turn up the heater and drink some whiskey while you’re listening to some good music
  • Drink vodka and dance
  • Fireball shots

You can’t really go wrong with any of the above options. So just take your pick and thank me when you’re warm.

I hope you beauties have a solid weekend. Stay safe. Stay warm. Stay blessed.

On to the music…

New Avicii. I’m sure we’ll hear this at Fifth Ave soon enough…and I won’t be mad about it.

It’s Friday. I need 5pm. I need a drink in my hand.

Don’t really know much about this song or the person singing it, but I can’t help but love it

This song will be here at the beginning of the year for as long as we keep doing this.

Obviously….
