Bad news, it’s not even 11. Good news, it’s Friday! Only 6ish more hours until you can celebrate your short lived freedom. Whether you were crunching numbers or digging ditches, celebrate the fact that you made it through another grueling work week. At the end of the day, we’re all just doing one thing anyway…

We made it to June, folks. That’s a huge deal. It means we are free from worry about the cold for at least 2 months. We can finally golf every weekend without worrying about whether or not we should pack our pullovers or hand warmers. Now we just need to worry about which lake we’re going to jump on after a nice little morning 18. I’m not sure anything really beats a nice dip in a lake or a cold pop on a boat after losing 10 balls on a public course that shouldn’t really be that difficult to play. It makes you feel alive.

Speaking of feeling alive, it’s Hawaiian shirt time. Every year after Memorial Day Weekend, Fridays become Hawaiian shirt Fridays. This really fires me up. I’m not even working today and I’m wearing my Hawaiian shirt. Who would I be if I wasn’t following the rules? A bad person and a liar. That’s who I’d be. And yeah, I may be a bad person, but I’m sure as shit not a liar. Nothing screams it’s Friday in the Summer like a nice Hawaiian shirt. They’re the perfect shirt for a relaxed day at the office rolling into a few hours at your favorite happy hour spot.

Speaking of happy hours, I might just start happy hour a little early today since I’m not working. By early, I mean now. I had to obviously get some food in me, so that’s why this is so late, but I have a good enough base to start putting some pops back now. So that’s huge for me. I’m obviously going to put a start to my attempt at 30 patios in 30 days idea. I don’t even know where that came from tbh. I just thought of it. Now that I think of it, I’m sort of regretting it. But I’m not a liar, so I’m going to try it. Don’t know how this is going to go, but we’ll give it the old college try.

Speaking of the old college try, Dave and I did not live up to our goal of creating any content in Nashville. To be fair though, Nashville was awesome and I felt like I would’ve been taking away from the experience by trying to produce any content. What an awesome place though. Gotta get back there. I think Broadway is Heaven on Earth.
