Bad news, it’s hardly 10. Good news, it’s Friday! Only 7ish more hours until you can celebrate your short lived freedom. Whether you were crunching numbers or digging ditches, celebrate the fact that you made it through another grueling work week. At the end of the day, we’re all just doing one thing anyway…

 

Friends, it’s Friday. We made it. Congrats to everyone on surviving another week at work. Not sure what makes this Friday feel more important than others, but damn, I feel like we really accomplished something by getting through this one. We’ve got a huge weekend on deck. It’s Ryder Cup weekend. Nothing screams “I’m a degenerate, American, sports fan” like waking up not going to bed to watch a 2:30am tee time. Oh yeah, we’ve got Tha Carter V today. Lil’ Wayne blessed us and finally dropped it. Kanye is dropping an album tomorrow. Oktoberfest beer is on tap everywhere. Life is good, people.

I’m not positive that anything gets me going like the Ryder Cup. I love competition. I love golf. I love America. These are facts. Combining all those things into one event is dangerous. It’s like injecting bald eagle blood mixed with Budweiser and water from the 17th at TPC Sawgrass right into my veins. That’s gotta be some sort of PED. I might look into it. I can’t wait to watch the Americans crush the Europeans this weekend. I need a repeat win more than anything else in this world. Right now the US of A is up 3-1, but we’ve got a long way to go. So here’s to hoping we aren’t sweating this out Sunday morning. I can’t take a collapse and a Lions loss in one day. That’s just too much for one heart to handle.

Anyway, it’s supposed to be a decent weekend. Dave is coming down. Can’t wait to get into something with him. We’ve got some ideas that we might film. I’m not sure. We’ll see how it all goes. I’m sure we won’t do anything. That’s kind of how these things usually go. Whatever. Go turn on C5 and have yourself a good weekend.
