Bad news, it’s hardly 10. Good news, it’s Friday! Only 7ish more hours until you can celebrate your short lived freedom. Whether you were crunching numbers or digging ditches, celebrate the fact that you made it through another grueling work week. At the end of the day, we’re all just doing one thing anyway…

 

Well, folks, it’s officially Fall. I got sick for the first time this season last week (which explains why I didn’t get  blog out last Friday. That and Red Dead Redemption 2 came out) and I hated it. I’m sick of this weather already. I need Summer again. I might just go into hiding until May rolls around and I can wear shorts again.

Anyway, I’m sick of false promises. That’s why I’m not going to sit here and promise that we’ll have new content. That’s the old me. The new me doesn’t make promises. The new me makes guarantees. So I’m guaranteeing you that we’ll have new content in the next week. So sit back, put that in your pocket, and be sure to ridicule me when I forget to do anything this time next week.

Not a lot going on this weekend though. Sort of a weird weekend. It’s always hard to follow up Halloween weekend though. So thoughts and prayers to this weekend, it’s just not getting the love it deserves, even if that amount of love may be low to begin with. I guess the only thing we can do now is to plan out our Thanksgivings and get things squared away at work while we push towards the finish line of 2018. I can’t wait until December rolls around and the office turns into a ghost town. That’s the sort of stuff I live for. Nothing worse than having to act interested in conversations all day. That sort of thing wears you down. Really eats at your soul. If you’re finding yourself going down that path, I recommend headphones. Get some big headphones and just tune the world out. They don’t have to be noise cancelling, just act like they are. Honestly, it’s going to make your life 100x better.

I got sidetracked.

Anyway, have a weekend. Grab some rum and dump it in your cider. Or just shotgun a beer or 10. Whatever you do, be safe and enjoy yourself. Nothing worse than not enjoying your weekend.
