Bad news, it’s nowhere close to 10am. Good news, it’s Friday! Only 8 more hours until you can celebrate your short lived freedom. Whether you were crunching numbers or digging ditches, celebrate the fact that you made it through another grueling work week. At the end of the day, we’re all just doing one thing anyway…

It’s time. Opening day in Detroit is finally here. Honestly, I’ve been waiting a year for this. No place I’d rather be right now. Let’s just recap what happened this week, folks. Nova won the NCAA Championship on a buzzer beater. UConn won the women’s championship by 1000 points, but that’s no shocker. The Tigers are 2-0 on their way to 1 million home runs this season and 162-0. Let’s not ignore my previous blog about my skepticism about the Tigers and their early success. We’ll see what happens come September. In the meantime I’m going to do my part as a fan and cheer them on. I’m pretty sure there’s a direct correlation between the number of beers I drink and the number of runs they score. So I’m going to do my best to snap chug a few beers and talk shit to anyone wearing a Yankees jersey.

Let’s get into it. First song is off of The Life Of Pablo. Love everything about this album. I’m all in on Kanye. Dude is a genius. Don’t care what your opinion is or what types of information you have to tell me, you won’t change my mind. Love it. Love him. Love this album. Get out of my face with negativity about it. Guarantee everyone who talks shit about Kanye would do a 180 once they sit down and listen to TLOP. This song is a great one. Short and sweet.  Thanks be to Based God for this album being released outside of Tidal. Fuck Tidal.

Second song just reiterates the message of the day. If you’ve never been to opening day in Detroit, you wouldn’t understand. I strongly recommend you get yourself there at least once in your life. I’m not even saying you have to go to the game. The atmosphere is electric. It’s going to be freezing today, but I promise you that won’t stop a single person from having a great time. Go Tigers.

Here’s to hoping we all make it out of that bad boy ok and the Tigers pick up the W to keep the dream alive. 162-0 or bust!
