Bad news, it’s not even 9am. Good news, it’s Friday! Only 8+ more hours until you can celebrate your short lived freedom. Whether you were crunching numbers or digging ditches, celebrate the fact that you made it through another grueling work week. At the end of the day, we’re all just doing one thing anyway…
Here we are. Another Friday, another week wasted with no content other than this. I’m actually disappointed in myself. I mean I know we always say we’re going to have new shit, but in all seriousness, that’s just lie. You know it, I know it, we all know it. But I swear I’ll try better this time to get something else out there.
In the meantime, it’s going to be 94 down here tomorrow. You’d have to be brain dead to think that I’m not going to be at the pool. That’s probably the easiest choice of my life next to taking the short cut back to my house with Tigs 4 years ago today. What a time. This is actually a perfect idea, might come out with a 4 year recap of post grad life. Let me give you a preview, it sucks. Whatever you guys are doing this weekend, I hope it’s better than falling off a garage and completely breaking your shit. Might just bring a few sodas out to the pool and relax. Of course that will turn into a 12 pack and I’ll be sloppy drunk by the time I go to dinner. I wouldn’t want it any other way to be quite honest.
To the music….went with a #throwbackfriday mix today. First song is an absolute jam. Someone on the radio was talking about this last night and I knew right there that I needed to include it in this wonderful little what-have-you. If you weren’t all about this song growing up, I think you’re lying to yourself or Mormon (my apologies to Mormons, gotta be a tough life when you can’t drink coffee…fun fact that’s why Romney lost in 2012).
Second song was a little tough. I was juggling a few different ideas. I was trying to channel my inner early 2000’s self, watching TRL, trying to remember the top 10’s from summers past. In the end, I think I landed on a great song.
