Bad news, it’s not even 9 am. Good news, it’s Friday! Only 8 more hours until you can celebrate your short lived freedom. Whether you were crunching numbers or digging ditches, celebrate the fact that you made it through another grueling work week. At the end of the day, we’re all just doing one thing anyway…

Buckle up, people! This weekend is about to get wild. Too many crazy things in store, not enough time. I promise that I’ll get some sort of rundown of events going by midday this afternoon. In the meantime, we’ve got some great stuff to get you through the final hours of this work week. I’m not even sure why, but I’m thrilled right now. Maybe because it’s Friday. Maybe it’s because this week hasn’t been absolute dog shit. Maybe it’s because we have a new writer. Maybe it’s because I’m all jacked up on coffee. Who knows? I sure as shit don’t. Either way, it’s going to be a good weekend. I’ll be up north, but I encourage each and every one of you to get out and enjoy this first weekend of Fall. My suggestion would be to head to a cider mill bright and early tomorrow, stop at your local liquor store on the way home, grab rum, mix rum with cider, watch college football, grill, drink more, wake up on Sunday, drink more, grill more, watch the Lions, drink, eat, repeat. Literally just created a bulletproof plan for your weekend. You’re welcome.

On to the music.

We lost a Shawty Lo this week. Really unfortunate stuff. T’s and P’s go out to his friends and family. Mr. Lo gave us some great music as a member of D4L. If you don’t know who they are, I’m imploring you to head to youtube after this and check them out. This song is a single of his that really gets people going. RIP Shawty Lo

Second up is an absolute jam. Really gets me fired up. Not sure I really need any other explanation of this. Just wish these guys would’ve done all of the music for the Beatles LOVE show I saw in Vegas.
