Bad news, it’s not even 10 am. Good news, it’s Friday! Only 7ish more hours until you can celebrate your short lived freedom. Whether you were crunching numbers or digging ditches, celebrate the fact that you made it through another grueling work week. At the end of the day, we’re all just doing one thing anyway…
Well, well, well….here we are again. It’s mid-October and that can only mean one thing…Homecoming. I’m legitimately terrified just thinking about how many Keystone Lights I’m going to run through in order to find another white can (We found 2 last year for those of you keeping count). The one we still have sitting in our beer fridge needs a companion, and by the grace of God, I will provide that companion. It’s my understanding that the college will be restricting our tailgate time to 1 hour before the game. If you were to ask my opinion on that, I’d say, “please try and stop me from having a good time. I welcome the challenge.” I’ll be ripping up some truck stuff in a parking lot no matter what. I’ll play Mr. Jones AT MINIMUM 5 times. I’ll toss a pigskin because it’s my God given right. I’ll snapchug the entire event for those of you who cannot join us for one reason or another.
This brings me to my next point. I’m not sure whether or not I should live blog the event. I mean last year was fun, but it was a lot of work trying to get wasted and update the blog every 10 minutes. I mean, I love the challenge, but I’m just not sure what it’s worth in the end. Might think of something else to get the people what they need. Who knows? I’ve got a million tricks up my sleeve, so that’s that.
CANNNNNNOT wait to get to Shake’s tonight. Going to burn (figuratively) that place to the ground. Really hoping some wasted girl insults someone and dumps a beer on them for no reason like they did last year. I didn’t get a chance to see the action last year, so I’m hoping I’ll be more fortunate this time around. Who knows, I might be the one wearing a beer by the end of the night! We can only hope!
Anyway, can’t wait to see all of you beauts there. Really gets me fired up just thinking about it.
To the music.
First up is the only song I can think of that captures the feeling of shotgunning a beer in a truck bed in the parking lot of Angell Field.
Second song is just a great one. If you can’t get down to this, I can’t get down with you.
PS – Hats are back in stock in white and khaki. Let me know if you want one and I can make that happen.
