Bad news, it’s hardly 10. Good news, it’s Friday! Only 7ish more hours until you can celebrate your short lived freedom. Whether you were crunching numbers or digging ditches, celebrate the fact that you made it through another grueling work week. At the end of the day, we’re all just doing one thing anyway…

Really excited about today being Friday. It was a short week for me, but it felt like it went on forever. That and the shitty weather we’ve had recently have really been punching me in the dick. I just want to be outside and do summer things. I mean, I know it’s not summer yet, but I feel like if I act like it’s summer, then I won’t really know the difference. As long as I can golf, play some catch, day drink, and bbq, I won’t know the difference between April and July (minus the pool and the sunburn). Hoping for a nice weekend to really kick off the pre-summer summer activities.

This brings me to my next point: Day drinking.

I don’t really think there are many things like day drinking. I mean night drinking is a close second, but there’s just something about the day version that really sets it apart. Waking up in the morning and cracking open the vodka for a little Boys Being Boys action is just what I need on a beautiful summer Saturday/Sunday. Follow that with a quick 6 pack on the golf course and you’re on the fast track to black out city by 2pm. You’ll obviously want food, so you can either A.) Grill and drink or B.) Head to a patio where you can drink and eat. Either choice is great. Then that just flows right into a nice little nap before you hit the town to run it back at 5th Ave for the night version.

Speaking of which, I’ll meet you beauties at 5th Ave to crush a few vodka vodkas and get weird on the 2nd floor.
