Bad news, it’s hardly 9. Good news, it’s Friday! Only 8ish more hours until you can celebrate your short lived freedom. Whether you were crunching numbers or digging ditches, celebrate the fact that you made it through another grueling work week. At the end of the day, we’re all just doing one thing anyway…

 

It’s October 20th, 2017. That means one thing and one thing only. It’s homecoming weekend at Kalamazoo College. Talk about being fired up. Can’t wait to blackout at Shake’s tonight. Just like K grads have been doing long before I was a student, and will continue to do forever.  It’s a tradition unlike any other. A tale as old as time. Then tomorrow morning we’ll wake up and do it all over again while we cheer on the current members of the Kalamazoo College Football Team. I imagine between now and then, I’ll consume somewhere between a dozen Sweetwater’s donuts, 2 dubs, and a gallon or two of Bell’s (I’m such a basic bitch when it comes to Kalamzoo).

It should be a nice little weekend. Hopefully the Nets can grab a W, I can manage to not throw up before sundown on Saturday, and I can rally to rip fireball shots at Gatsby. If all of those things happen, I would be v happy.

As is tradition, I’ll be live blogging the tailgate. To what extent? I have no idea. But I will walk away with content. If I keep telling myself that, I’m sure I’ll do it one of these times. Only time will tell.

Either way, I’ll have a good time. I don’t think I’ve ever actually had a bad time at a homecoming. I guess that isn’t too hard when you’re busy reliving the glory days with all of your friends who were with you in said glory days. I guess I’m just hashtag super blessed to have the opportunity to run it back year after year.

That’s all for now. I hope those of you who are not going to KCHC17 have yourselves a nice little weekend as well. It’s shaping up to be halfway decent weather so I’d fully recommend taking advantage and going full send one last time (until the next time we have nice weather).

I’ll wrap this bad boy up with a song that we haven’t featured since Tyga and Kylie broke up. I think it was out of respect that we didn’t include this, but I think we’re over the grieving period.
