Bad news, it’s almost 10. Good news, it’s Friday! Only 7ish more hours until you can celebrate your short lived freedom. Whether you were crunching numbers or digging ditches, celebrate the fact that you made it through another grueling work week. At the end of the day, we’re all just doing one thing anyway…

 

 

Wow guys, what a long week. Can’t wait until work is done and I can drink away the next 3 days and complain about how short my weekend was. Classic. Really dropped the ball last weekend by not getting any content. Might be a first for us, not live blogging homecoming. That’s on me. I guess I just got caught up in the moment, which I hear is rule number one of things not to do if you want to be a big time blogger. Oh well. We’ll get it next year. As far as the weekend went though, it was great. Saw a lot of good people. Saw a lot of shitty people too, but that’s the way she goes. Not really mad, I mean how could I be? I had a dozen Sweetwater’s donuts. Impossible to be mad if you’re eating those things.

Anyway, Lions are back in action this weekend. That’s a big deal. It’s also a prime time game. That’s an even bigger deal. I’ll be out there defending the den all damn day. Might show up at the ass crack of dawn to try and ask Big Ben why he didn’t ask for consent. Might try to tweet at Ziggy today to make sure he asks for consent before touching Big Ben, just to be safe. I’m also going to get myself a big plate of PF Changs to eat right in Big Ben’s face. Really just going for the kill shot with that one. I hope you will all help to Restore the Roar, wherever you may be.

It’s also Halloween weekend. Let’s not ignore that. I think it’s reputation speaks for itself, so I won’t go into major detail here. My plans fell through at the last second, but that’s fine. I’ll be ok. It’s just another chance to battle adversity. I think that’s where I’m at my best, if I’m being honest. The cards are stacked against me. My back is against the wall. But I’m going to battle (like Glanzy) and have myself a weekend. I can promise you that. I hope you spooky ghouls and goblins do as well.

Finally, not to brag, but kind of to brag, my team took home the co-ed softball tournament. Pulled out two wins in the bottom of the 7th to seal the deal. Added a couple pieces of hardware to the bar at MBrew. Not a big deal. But I just wanted to thank all of you for your support throughout the season. God bless.
