Bad news, it’s not even 9. Good news, it’s Friday! Only 8ish more hours until you can celebrate your short lived freedom. Whether you were crunching numbers or digging ditches, celebrate the fact that you made it through another grueling work week. At the end of the day, we’re all just doing one thing anyway…

 

 

We’ll what would you know…another Friday, another week without more content. Sound familiar? Well, that’s because it is. We’ve been here before, we’ll be here again. We can figure it out at some point. Not really sure when that will be. But someday, we will.

Anyway, the weather is finally turning. I’m glad. I thought we’d be wearing sweaters in June instead of swimsuits. Would’ve been a bad look for Summer. Thankfully, someone flipped a switch and the weather went from 30 and snowy to 85 and hot as shit. I’m not even that mad, just could’ve used a nice little buffer in between the freezing cold and swamp ass heat. The wonderful thing that comes with this heat though, is boat SZN. Thank god. I haven’t needed anything more in my life than to be on a boat somewhere with a cold pop or 10.

I’d also like to acknowledge the fact that this weekend is going to be an absolute beauty. Not because of the weather that I just spent an entire paragraph on without making a coherent thought, but because of two wonderful holidays. I’m talking about Cinco de Mayo and Derby Day. Wow. Name a more iconic duo…I’ll wait. Nothing screams a good time like eating Mexican food and crush Mint Juleps, all while gambling away your life savings on a few 3 year old horses. What a great time. In case anyone cares, I like Bolt D’Oro. So head on down to your favorite race track, make a pit stop at Taco Bell, and place a few wagers. Doesn’t kill you to live a little. If you can’t do that, put back enough Mint Juleps to make you think you’re in Louisville. That will end well.

If you hate celebrating the 5th of May and watching horse racing, I don’t know what to tell you. You might be the saddest person on the planet and you probably aren’t reading this so who cares.
