Bad news, it’s hardly 10. Good news, it’s Friday! Only 7ish more hours until you can celebrate your short lived freedom. Whether you were crunching numbers or digging ditches, celebrate the fact that you made it through another grueling work week. At the end of the day, we’re all just doing one thing anyway…

 

We’ve made it. It’s Friday. Thank God. I think I had a classic 3 day post wedding hangover. Not ideal, but hey, I made it out alive so I can’t complain. In fact, just to test the body out I’m going to get absolutely in one this weekend. Top secret plans so I can’t reveal too much until it’s over, but it’s going to be trial for the ages on my liver. Golf. Sun. Booze. That’s a winning combination if I’ve ever heard one.

Speaking of sun, it’s going to be a scorcher this weekend. I highly recommend finding your way to the nearest pool/body of water. Hard to beat a few lake/pool beers. I’m not sure there’s anything I actually enjoy more in the Summer than ripping a few pops on the pond. Tough to beat that. If you think you’ve got something better than that, drop me a line, I’m dying to try it out.

While you’re waiting to hear about doing something better than drinking a beer on the pond, you should go enjoy a cold one on a patio at your favorite establishment this weekend. Sure, it might be warm, but we’ll be begging for this once December rolls around. Gotta take advantage of these opportunities while we can. I’m still battling for this 30/30 goal and I hope you are too.

 

That’s all I’ve got right now. We’ve got the U.S. Open and the World Cup on this weekend so that’s pretty neat. Let’s enjoy those…preferably on a patio with a beverage.
