Friday Pick-me-up

Bad news, it’s not even 10 am. Good news, it’s Friday! Only 7 more hours until you can celebrate your short lived freedom. Whether you were crunching numbers or digging ditches, celebrate the fact that you made it through another grueling work week. At the end of the day, we’re all just doing one thing anyway…

Yes. It’s the freakin weekend, baby. Fired up doesn’t even begin to describe how I feel right now. Got some great pool weather in the forecast, a mini fridge full of Corona, and nothing but time on my hands. Honestly, I’m looking forward to doing absolutely nothing. The other half of DM the Details will be joining me along with a solid crew and some surprise guests. We might be able to pump out some content this weekend. If we don’t, we really should just give all of this up.

First song, absolute fire jam. I think this album was the first parental advisory album my mom ever bought me. I thought I was Billy Badass walking around school with this in my CD player. The song still holds its weight today and is a certified banger. It screams summer time. I’m trying to get as lit as the people in the video this weekend. That’s my only real goal.

Second song is a staple around these parts and has been since I first heard it in 2012. If you can’t get on board with it, I don’t think we have any real business being friends. It’s one of those songs that will NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER not get me hype. I just listened to it, and I’m ready to bong a fifth of Burnetts Orange Creame.

So here’s to you, here’s to me, here’s to the weekend. Let’s get this party started.
