Bad news, it’s not even 10 am. Good news, it’s Friday! Only 7ish more hours until you can celebrate your short lived freedom. Whether you were crunching numbers or digging ditches, celebrate the fact that you made it through another grueling work week. At the end of the day, we’re all just doing one thing anyway…
I’m legitimately surprised this city is still standing/not under 20 feet of water. Unreal. Haven’t seen rain like that the last time I was at Deja Vu. What?
Seriously though, I half expected Detroit to look even more like some post-apocalyptic wasteland, but to my surprise, it still looks like Berlin circa 1945. Really a good day if you think about it.
Anyway, this rain is showing zero signs of slowing down so I’m fully planning on buying stand up jet skis so I can whip around a little easier this weekend. After all, it is the weekend and I need to get alcohol somehow.
Ryder Cup kicks off today, and if you aren’t fired up about that, you might as well just hand over your citizenship and get the hell out of here. I like the USA’s chances this weekend, especially after that hero came out of the gallery and showed the Eurotrash how to putt like a real man. If you take into consideration the top 10 matchup taking place in Ann Arbor tomorrow, my liver stands no chance. Conservative estimate: I plan on drinking no fewer than 100 Coors Lights over the course of the weekend.
I hope you all enjoy yourselves. I know I’ll be having a blast. Hopefully it actually does flood and we can live blog some water sports.
Almost forgot this was a music blog. My bad.
First up is a great song that really gets me juiced up and ready for some fireball shots on this glorious Fireball Friday. .
Second song here is just good. I don’t want to even waste your time with some explanation of how much I love it, so I’ll just stop here.
