Bad news, it’s not even 9 am. Good news, it’s Friday! Only 8ish more hours until you can celebrate your short lived freedom. Whether you were crunching numbers or digging ditches, celebrate the fact that you made it through another grueling work week. At the end of the day, we’re all just doing one thing anyway…
It’s Veterans Day. I’m not working. I hope you’re not working. I imagine that most people aren’t as lucky as I am to get this holiday off of work, so if you’re grinding your way to the weekend, cheers to you.
A lot of wacky shit happened this week. I mean the Wings won in Philly for the first time since 97 (suck on that Charles), Team DM the Details took 2 out of 3 games at pick up hoops on Wednesday night (recap coming), and Trump won. I’ll address the Trump thing one more time. He won a democratic election. The electoral college has been in place since the beginning. The petitions on change.org are so ridiculous. The electoral college won’t change their vote because one side is upset that they didn’t win. Newsflash, that’s what happens in an election, there is one winner. If Hillary would’ve won in the same circumstance, the people who support her would be celebrating the electoral college. Give it a rest. Maybe if you get a better turnout in Detroit, you win the election. But you didn’t, so give it a rest. Ok, I’m done. Go Lions.
I’m headed to Toronto today. Kinda fired up. Literally the only reason I’m making this trip is to go to Drake’s restaurant. Completely irrational, but then again, I’ve never been confused with a rational person. Only issue is, I have no idea where I can watch the Michigan game tomorrow and that’s not ok. I know it’s not that much of a difference, but I feel like I’m stepping into a different world every time I go to Canada. Things are just strange. Similar to the upside down in Stranger Things. Low key hoping some kind of monster attacks me so I don’t have to go back to work on Monday (do Canadians believe in monsters? Legitimately asking).
I’ll hope to have a recap. I’m planning on racing few people. Hopefully I’ll claim the title as the fastest white guy in Toronto. International champion. What a time to be alive.
On to the music.
First up, this is just a fire flames throwback. No other explanation necessary
Next up is a pretty obvious selection. I’m going to Canada. This is necessary.
