Bad news, it’s not even 10 am. Good news, it’s Friday! Only 7ish more hours until you can celebrate your short lived freedom. Whether you were crunching numbers or digging ditches, celebrate the fact that you made it through another grueling work week. At the end of the day, we’re all just doing one thing anyway…

Wow, guys. Just wow. What a glorious day. Started out shitty. Woke up following a Red Wings OT loss, missed my alarm, got stuck in traffic, and was late to work. But all of that negativity has vanished. SWEETWATERS IS OPENING FRANCHISES! Holy shit. I repeat, SWEETWATERS IS OPENING FRANCHISES! Unbelievable. Wow, what a great day. If I could capture this happiness in a bottle and sell it, I’d be a billionaire by noon. What an exciting twist to my morning.

Whew…anyway, it’s the first weekend of December, so it’s basically Christmas. I mean in terms of productivity at work, this place has been on Christmas break for the last month. 75% of the people I know have been mentally checked out since the week before the week of Thanksgiving. Gotta love the holidays.

Speaking of the holidays, the best day of all is approaching quickly…SANTACON 2016! Can’t wait to stumble around Royal Oak hammered drunk, dressed like Santa. Really sets the tone for the rest of the year. Money becomes beer and liquor, strangers become friends, beer and liquor become vomit by 5, and everyone lives happily ever after. That’s next weekend though so there is plenty of time to prepare yourselves.

This weekend we’ve got ourselves a little MACTION in the D. The boys from Western Michigan University are rowing their boat all the way to the Motor City to battle the Ohio bobcats (I think that’s their nickname, I have no clue) for the most prized championship in all of the land. Really hoping that PJ Fleck and the boys can pull it out and bring the W home for the city of Kalamazoo. If you’re not busy, head on down to Ford Field and get in on the festivities.

As for my plans this weekend, I’ll be doing what I do every weekend…Drinking myself into a stupor and regretting it the next day, only to start drinking at noon and repeat the vicious cycle. I hope you all have a super blessed weekend no matter what it is that you do.
