Bad news, it’s hardly 9. Good news, it’s Friday! Only 8ish more hours until you can celebrate your short lived freedom. Whether you were crunching numbers or digging ditches, celebrate the fact that you made it through another grueling work week. At the end of the day, we’re all just doing one thing anyway…
It’s Friday. It’s time to get through your last few tasks for the week as quickly as possible so you can get your ass out of the office by 5 and belly up to a bar to drink away the end of Winter blues. Really, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to put some sort of jinx on everyone a few weeks ago. If you were to tell me it would be snowing like this in early March after things were looking like we may not need coats by March 2nd, I’d call you a psycho and tell you to get help. Well, joke is on me. It’s snowing like crazy up north. It’s cold in metro Detroit. Pretty much the same thing. Either way, I know one way to cure your end of Winter blues, and that’s with a few shots of Fireball on this lovely Friday!
Those shots are a great way to kick off St. Practice Day Weekend. Really not sure why we’re celebrating St. Practice Day this year when St. Patrick’s Day falls on a Saturday, but I’m not complaining. I’m just going to act like this wasn’t an oversight and roll with it. Can’t wait to be stumbling around the streets of Royal Oak with all of my Irish friends (and those who are Irish for the weekend). If you think I’m not doing a car bomb at O’Toole’s, you’re out of your mind. I hope I see some familiar faces out there. It’s always a battle making it through one of these bar crawls. Last time I went to one of these I ended up buying bitcoin at midnight. Don’t remember doing it, but it happened (thankfully I sold before it crashed…yikes).
Anyway, I hope you all do your part and practice your celebration for next weekend’s festivities. Meet me at O’Toole’s so I know it’s real!
PS – We recorded a podcast. I’m working on getting it edited, but it will be out soon (not that anyone will listen because why would they)
On to the music.
First up, we’ve got a request straight from Jules
Next, we’ve got another request. This one comes from Dave.
Next, we’ve got a great oldie
PS – If anyone has talked to Ian, get him to record new music. TYVM
